Ira Weinberg Obituary
Naples, FL
Ira Weinberg, of Naples, FL, 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4th, 2017. Born July 10, 1936, son of Hyman and Sally Weinberg, Ira grew up in CT and was formerly of Silver Spring, MD. He was a graduate of the Wharton School of Business and received a doctorate in education from Columbia University. Ira had a varied career as a business owner, a business consultant, and a college professor.
He is survived by his wife Helene Weinberg; children Andrew and Gabrielle; daughter-in-law Suzanne; and grandson Brendan. In addition stepchildren Eric and Dean Arfin, daughter-in-law Dana Treistman and step grandchildren Ryan, Shane, and Maya.
Services will be held Sunday at 11 am at the Palm Royale Cemetery Vanderbilt Beach Rd., Naples.
