The years seem to just slip by, but fond are the memories of Abe and Jean at Stateside at Jay Peak. She always had a beautiful smile and a hearty hello for us. Fond memories of them in Enosburg, and Abe biking up School Street. We miss you.

It is with great sadness we receive the news of Jean’s passing. My wife Jody (Moore) and I have such fond memories of skiing and being in the brown bag room on Stateside. We talked family and our love of bridge. She was always such a darling, and ever ready for conversation. My years at the high school afforded me ample opportunity to stop on School Street to chat. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Abe and Jean Brown were good friends of my parents - and I remember many times running around the Jay Peak Stateside building with Lewis. I was thrilled they were able to attend my wedding in 1985. May her memory be a blessing.

My father and mother loved Jean and Abe. Dad worked for them in the 1950’s and 1960’s until my parents started their own business in Morrisville. I can remember being at the Brown’s camp on Lake Carmi as a child. I am proud to remember both Jean and Abe.
My deepest condolences to the Brown family.
