Leon 'Pat' Cooper, 88, passed away on November 24, 2014, surrounded by his family. Formerly of Trenton, NJ, he was a resident of Bonita Springs, FL for the past 11 years. He was the son of the late Victor and Dora (Popkin) Cooper.
Pat is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Selma (Tarshis); his children, Mark (Michele), Jeffrey (Marcia Rushing), and Beth (Darrell) Flick; his brother, Harris (Darcy) Cooper; brother of the late Libby (Ray) Kalland and the late Ted (Patsy) Cooper; brother-in-law of Esmond (Dinah) Druker, Faye (Allen) Applebaum and Elaine (Avrom) Podbere. He had six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Pat graduated from Trenton Central High School, attended Rutgers University and was a veteran of the US Army serving in WW II. He was a member of the Naples Jewish Congregation in Naples, FL and the American Legion. Services are private.
