Naples, FL
Linda Karen Ormerod, 67, of Naples, FL passed away suddenly at Naples Community Hospital on August 23, 2017. Born in Nelson, England on November 7, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Basil and Doris (Braniff) Pickering. Linda enjoyed the first 44 years of a happy and fulfilling life in Burnley, England. She lived in the US for the next 23 years in Bedford, NH and Naples and 3 years in Hong Kong. A proud Lancashire Lass, Linda was always appreciative and supportive of her family, friends and colleagues; the environment; and especially, her heritage. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 36 years, David; her cherished children, Mark, Nicola and Claire; adored grandchildren, Zoe, Bobby, Chase, Jordan and Nathan who were the light of her life; and her brother, Raymond. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Irene Lawson. A Celebration of Linda's Life will take place TOMORROW, Monday, August 28th, 5-7PM, in the Magnolia Room, Fuller Funeral Home, 4735 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, FL 34112.
