Naples, FL

Lloyd Langille, 95, of Naples, died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Lloyd was born on April 8, 1922, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, a son of Gordon D. and Mary C. (Hilchey) Langille.

Lloyd was a 1940 graduate of Raymond High School, in Raymond, New Hampshire, and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He attended the University of Alabama and worked for the U.S. Postal Service and later began his own Real Estate business in New Hampshire. Lloyd was an avid pilot and enjoyed flying his own amphibious aircraft. He also loved travelling throughout the United States and Canada in his RV.

He is survived by his wife Gudrun (Horstman) Langille, brother Delma Langille, cousin Harris Langille, step-son Steffen Horstman, step-daughters Bettina Kaechele and Anja Spangenberg, nephews Russell Langille, Alan Langille and Lester Langille, granddaughter Amber Maddox, grandsons Nathan Horstman, Ryan Horstman, Jonathan Horstman and Dylan Spangenberg.

Lloyd was predeceased by his first wife Florence Brown, brother Earl Langille, and nephew Neal Langille.

A private funeral service is being arranged by Peabody Funeral Homes in Derry, New Hampshire, and burial will take place at the Great Hill Cemetery in Chester, New Hampshire.
