Mahgee "Maggie" Karol
Naples, FL
Mahgee Karol died August 12, 2011 in Naples, FL at the age of 90. Born in Engelholm, Sweden on July 21, 1921, the daughter of Otto and Thea Ericsson.
After graduating college, she moved to New York City where she worked in the fashion industry. She met and married Robert Karol, violist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Although Mahgee raised a family and traveled extensively, she also started a Swedish crystal importing business. Mahgee was an avid golfer and bridge player.
Mahgee was known for grace, elegance and wonderful sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Mahgee is survived by her children, Stephanie Karol and Jeffrey Karol, both of Naples, FL; and grandchildren, Melissa (Michael) Travisano, and Christopher Ted Karol of Bonita Springs, FL.
A service celebrating Mahgee's life will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 4:00 p.m., at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Our deepest condolences are being sent to Stephanie and Jeffrey during this very difficult time. "Gaggi" was an incredible inspiration to those who knew and loved her. We will forever be grateful for the love she shared with us.
