Marianne Rapps Obituary
Naples - Marianne Rapps passed away peacefully at home in Naples Florida after a brave battle against pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by her family. Marianne was born in Fredensborg Denmark and came over via Ellis Island with her Dad Paul Engler and Mother Lilly Engler. She met her husband William D. Rapps "Bill" at a New Year's Eve Party and they were married November 14, 1964. She is survived by her husband, her son Jeffrey Rapps and wife Kate and their children, her son Pete Rapps and his wife Jill, her brother Ken and wife Ginny and their children and grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Ln. I did not know Marianne well, but met her being a recent WINGS Board member. She was so welcoming to me and encouraging to "take care of self" in life situations. A truly amazing and intuitive woman. A huge loss to her family, friends, and community.
