Patsy Ruth Mansell Naples, FL
Patsy Ruth Mansell, 85, of Naples, formerly of Troy, MI. passed away at 4:16 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 in the comfort of her own bed, in her own home, in the presence of her son, as per her wishes.
Patsy was born to the late Noble and Ruth Wood in Akron, OH. On May 3rd of 1952, she married Air Force Sergeant Ronald Hazen Mansell in Phoenix, AZ. They were married for 53 years at the time of his passing in March of 2006.
On October 13, 1959, Patsy and Ronald adopted a beautiful baby girl they named Lisa Ruth Mansell, who passed away in March of 2008.
Patsy is survived by her son, Scott Claywood Mansell of Naples and Paul David Mansell, of Ferndale, MI; and her grandson, Matthew Scott Kelly of Troy, MI.
Patsy graduated as a Registered Nurse from Aultman Hospital School of Nursing in Canton, OH. in 1947. She transitioned to become a full-time mother, which she was outstanding at!
A Naples Memorial Service will take place on Sunday February 26th at 12:30 p.m. at North Naples United Methodist Church, 6000 Goodlette Rd. North, Naples, FL. 34109.
A Service in Michigan will be on Saturday, June 2nd at Ferndale First United Methodist Church, 22331 Woodward Ave. Ferndale, MI., 48220 at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, MI., next to her husband, his parents Clayton and Florence, and her daughter.
Patsy is finally resting, in peace.
