PEABODY – Angela (Kostopoulos) Mansell, 70, of Peabody, loving wife of the late Thomas Mansell, died peacefully on February 3, 2026 in Burlington.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Katherine (Drillis) Kostopoulos. Angela was raised and educated in Peabody, she attended Peabody High School.
Angela devoted her life to her family, finding her greatest joy in raising her three children, Peter, Paul, and Elaina. A loving and caring mother, she extended that same warmth to her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
A woman of deep faith, Angela was a proud born-again Christian whose belief in God guided her every day. She expressed her creativity through painting and crochet, crafting many cherished pieces for those she loved. Angela also enjoyed simple pleasures—she looked forward to Bingo nights at the Knights of Columbus in Peabody and never missed watching her favorite soap operas with Tommy.
Angela will be remembered for her gentle heart, her unwavering love for her family, and the comfort and kindness she brought into the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, Angela is predeceased by her beloved husband of 38 years, Thomas Mansell, and her brother in law, David Carbone.
Angela is survived by her children, Peter Kassis of Dover, NH, Paul Kassis of Beverly, and Elaina Kassis of Beverly, her brother, Michael Kostopoulos and his wife Renee, her sisters, Kathy Kalogianis and her husband Chuck, Denise Pashby and her husband Jim, Nikki Carbone, and Susan Kostopoulos, her grandchildren, Katrina Pierce and her husband Nicholas, Ava Kassis, Rebecca Boulay, Jonathan Kassis, Isabella Kassis, Sophia Kassis, and Theo McInerney, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Evie.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to Angela’s funeral service to be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 12PM at O’Donnell Cremations - Funerals - Celebrations, 84 Washington Square, (at Salem Common) SALEM.
