Sorry to hear of Pete's passing. He was my father's runner in World war 2. My Dad loved his men and while he did not talk much about the war he always mentioned Pete and Cecil. I had the pleasure of meeting both fine Americans.
Those guys saw so much...that is why they accomplished so much.
Rest In Peace Pete....you deserve it!

While I had only known Peter during his years in Naples. I considered Peter a wonderful friend, great conversationalist, lunch partner and a world class gentleman. He will be dearly missed here on earth but at rest in God's hand. God called Peter J. Byrne home.

Peter Byrne was treasured by all of us at Saint Joseph's University who admired his leadership, generosity and commitment to helping others. He was a class-act like no other. It was an honor to have known him.

I have such good memories of Peter when he was at The Clare and part of our "family". A small group of us met every morning in the gym where in addition for a work-out we worked out the problems of our world, a wonderful time. My best to his family......
