Hi there. For those of you who live far distance I want to share with you where your friend Kit is laid to rest. The cemetery is surrounded by acres of protected land. Right where his grave is, there is a beautiful lake, rich in rushes and full of wild life. The birds that live and fly the sky's appear to own that space and protect it. All of the tomb stones are decorated with a wreaths. His next door neighbor is Leroy Grooms. It is such a peaceful place.

Hi there! Yesterday was a perfect day. The sun was shining. The air was crisp, no clouds in the sky. The guns were fired. The taps were played. The flag was presented. The passage of time was read. We all held hands. There were more prayers but I zoned out. The green marble urn was gently returned to earth, in a beautiful setting, waterfront no less. Peace and harmony surrounded us. Grief is love. Soon smiles will replace our tears again. That's what he would want.

God saw him getting tired, a cure was not to be.
He wrapped him in his loving arms and
whispered ‘Come with me.'
He suffered much in silence,
his spirit did not bend.
He faced his pain with courage,
until the very end.
He tried so hard to stay with us
but his fight was not in vain,
God took him to His loving home and
freed him from the pain.

Kit,
You were loved and will be missed by so many. You had a charisma that only a few people possess, and you carried it well. There will be a void where your laughter, warm smile and sincere concern for others once stood.
May you rest in peace

I KNEW KIT 8 YRS. HE LOVED LIFE, HAVING FUN AND TRAVLEING.
HE HAD A CONTAGIOUS LAUGH AND LOTS OF WILD STORIES.
WE TOOK A MOTORHOME TRIP AND TOOK HIS DOG LUKE WITH US. KIT PUT SUNGLASSES ON LUKE AND HAD HIM SIT IN THE FRONT SEAT. WE GOT LOTS OF HONKS, WAVES AND STARES. WHEN WE STOPPED AT A REST STOP, A TRUCKER SAID IT WAS ALL OVER THE RADIO ABOUT THIS MOTOR HOME WITH A DOG IN THE FRONT SEAT AND HE JUST HAD TO COME OVER AND SEE FOR HIMSELF.
HE LOVED HIS DOG AND HIS FRIENDS ALOT.

I MARRIED KIT IN 1991. WE WERE TOGETHER A TOTAL OF EIGHT YEARS. IN ALL THE TIME I KNEW HIM, HE HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR LIFE AND HAVING FUN. I REMEMBER TAKING A TRIP IN A MOTORHOME. WE TOOK HIS DOG LUKE WITH US. LUKE LOVED ATTENTION. KIT PUT SUNGLASSES ON LUKE AND HAD HIM SIT IN THE PASSENGER SEAT UP FRONT. WE GOT HONKS, WAVES AND STARES. WE STOPPED AT A REST STOP AND A TRUCKER CAME UP TO US AND SAID IT WAS ALL OVER THE RADIOS ABOUT THIS MOTORHOME WITH A DOG RIDING AS PASSENGER WITH SUNGLASSES. HE SAID HE JUST HAD TO COME SAY HELLO AND SEE FOR HIMSELF. KIT LOVED TO TRAVEL AND HE LOVED HIS FRIENDS ALOT. HIS SENSE OF HUMOR AND WILD STORIES WILL BE MISSED.
