Gladys Clure Obituary
Gladys "Roberta" Clure passed away peacefully on November 20, 2022, at her home in Clermont, Florida, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John Clure and her three children: Andrew Clure (Lori) of Newtown, CT, Mitchell Clure of Oviedo, FL, and Stephanie Carl (John) of Mount Pleasant, SC. She was loving "RoRo" to her grandchildren: Tyler, Jillian, Meridith, Miller, and Whitney.
Roberta attended the University of Pennsylvania where she met her future husband, John. They resided in New Canaan, CT, for over 40 years. She was active in the community serving on the JLSN and at St. Marks. Having earned her paralegal degree and legal assistant certification in Real Estate, she worked for Chicago Title over 10 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing golf and paddle tennis at Woodway Country Club for over 35 years. She loved spending time with family and friends, playing bridge, and hosting dinners at their home and the lake house in Spofford, NH.
The family will lay Roberta to rest at Saint Mark's Church in New Canaan, CT on June 17, 2023, at 11:00am
