Jeanne Marie Ruddock
Beloved wife and mother Jeanne Marie Ruddock, 92, of Jupiter Florida, formerly a longtime New Canaan resident, passed away peacefully March 2nd, 2023. Born an only child October 30th 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to James T. Clooney and Mable (Keirnan) Clooney. Raised in her early years in Tokeneke, Connecticut, she attended school in Tarrytown, NY at Marymount from fifth grade until her graduation, where she forged life-long friendships. After graduation she worked at Condé Nast in Greenwich, CT as an artist.
Jeanne was a great supporter of St. Josephs Hospital and a member of the board and member of the Stamford Woman's Club, The Junior Business Professional Woman's Club and St. Leo's Seniors.
In 1960 Jeanne was married to William Francis Ruddock Jr. of Greenwich, CT. Jeanne is survived by her two sons, James Paul and William Francis. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Aloysius Church in New Canaan, CT at 10AM on Tuesday, March 14th, 2023. Burial arrangements will take place privately in St. Mary's at a later date. A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on March 13, 2023 at the Hoyt Funeral Home 199 Main Street New Canaan, CT.
