Joe was born to Rocco Mannetti and Josephine (Manfredo) Mannetti, in Port Chester, NY on April 17, 1952 He studied architecture at the New York Institute of Technology and became an established architectural designer, land developer and builder with his own companies, Mannetti Design Associates and JM Construction Group LLC He was also a real estate agent in Fairfield County and belonged to the Connecticut Association of Realtors

Joe was a man whose life was filled with passion His greatest love was his devoted family He took pride in his beloved wife, and all three of his children's accomplishments He enjoyed painting and sketching, playing golf and was an avid Yankee fan Joe was affectionate, and had a sense of humor that lifted spirits He loved people and his charisma quickly made him the life of any party

Joe is survived by his wife of 35 years, Diane (Martino) Mannetti; his three daughters, Jessica Mannetti, Rebecca Mannetti, and Ashley (Mannetti) Lewis; his son-in-laws, Paul Katz and Gregory Lewis; and his 4-year-old grandson, Benjamin Katz Joe is also survived by his two brothers, Rocco Mannetti and wife, Virginia, of Easton, and Michael Mannetti of Greenwich; and sister, Tina (Mannetti) DeVarti and husband, Ralph, of Rye Brook NY, along with several brother and sister-in-laws, a niece and many nephews

A funeral procession will be leaving The Nicholas F Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at 9 am for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 am at St Michael the Archangel, 469 North Street, Greenwich Interment will be private Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, May 31, 2013, from 4 to 8 pm
