Todd Craig

Todd Alan Craig, 52, of Wallingford, and formerly of New Canaan, died on Feb 4 at the Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut

He was born in Worcester, Mass, on March 7, 1961 He enjoyed a happy and busy life in sports, traveling and living around the globe with the family He had a league of friends

Todd grew up in New Canaan and attended the public schools there At that time, his addictions to alcohol, various drugs, a rod in his thigh and a craniotomy resulted in permanent brain damage, poor vision, immobility, incontinence and labored speech It all culminated with three decades of suffering in several nursing facilities Most recently, Todd was diagnosed with liver cancer and a systemic infection which could not be resolved before his death

Todd was predeceased by his younger brother, Matthew A Craig in 1992, and his father, Captain Donald G Craig in 2010 He leaves his older brother, David A Craig of Palm Beach, Fla, and his mother, Nancy M (Andrews) Craig of Falmouth, Mass

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, Feb 17, at 11  am at St Patrick's Church, 511 Main Street, Falmouth

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Matthew Andrews Craig Scholarship Fund, c/o WPI University Advancement, 100 Institute Road, Worcester, MA 01609-2280
