Betty Cline Obituary

Betty Jo Cline, 71, of Highland Ranch, Colo., passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at the Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Colo. She was a resident of Brook prior to 2007. She was born March 26, 1940, in Kentland to the late Virgil and Arno Wesley Wallace.
Mrs. Cline was a graduate of Brook High School, Class of 1958. She attended Lafayette Business College, earning an Associates Degree. On Aug. 20, 1961, she married William W. Cline, who preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 2006 in Lafayette.
Mrs. Cline was a homemaker and also did some bookkeeping. She attended the South Soborban Christian Church in Littleton, Colo., and was a past member of the Hazelden Country Club. She did some community work and charity work in Colorado and Arizona.
She is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Jo (Mike) Stasiewicz of Littleton, Colo., Mary "Micki" (Scott) Cogan, and Melissa (Col. Tom) Riney, both of Albuquerque, N.M. Also surviving is one sister, Lena Weishaar of Brook, and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one son, Bryan Cline.
Visitation was Friday, April 15, from 6-8 p.m. at the Gerts Funeral Home of Brook. Funeral services were Saturday, April 16, at the Brook United Methodist Church at 10 a.m., with Rev. Sue Beckett and Richard Gerts officiating. Burial followed at the Riverside Cemetery in Brook.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Bryan Cline Memorial Scholarship or charity of donor's choice.

Kim, Micki and Melissa and your families:I am so sorry for your loss, your Mom will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful, kind, giving person who was the ultimate soccer team Mom that was always there for everyone on the team. She was like a second Mom to me during my High School soccer days. Please know that you are all in my thoughts.
