Gale Gordon Obituary
He was born in 1927 in Darlington to the late Leslie C. and Martha L. (Dickerson) Gordon.
Gale honorably served in the United States Army during both the Korean Conflict and World War II.
He was a member of Raub United Methodist Church. He farmed in Benton County for 45 years.
His marriage was to Martha "Marty" Guard in 1951. Surviving along with his wife are three daughters, Connie Musser, Otterbein, Sue Beresford, Michigan, and Kathy Gordon (partner Jeanette), Maryland; his grandsons, Neal (Valarie) Musser, Clay Beresford, Ross Beresford; granddaughter, Brittany Peacock; two great-grandsons, Gavin and Mattox Musser; as well as his brother Kenneth Gordon.
Preceding him in death are a son-in-law, Glen Musser and a grandson, Matt Musser.

Friends may call from 1 – 4 p.m. (Eastern) Saturday, April 16 at the Earl Park Fire Station, 104 W. 5th Street, Earl Park. Funeral service will immediately follow at the fire station.
Memorial contributions may be made in Gale's memory to Richland Township Fire Department, Kentland Volunteer Fire Department, or a charity of your choice.

I am so sorry for your loss. I always looked forward every Sunday to see Gale and Marty who sat in the pew behind me in church. I also looked forward to Gale´s daily emails that always made me smile. I am sure Gale is now smiling from heaven. May he Rest In Peace.

I'm sorry to hear of Gale's passing. I alway's referred to him as my dad's best friend. It's brought back so many memories of the time's we would spend at Gale & Marty's farm. We would alway's look forward to seeing them when visiting grandma Shonkwiler and Aunt Helen. From riding in the combine, seeing Marty's bull and the boxer puppies. All the fun "toy's" they had. Spending time with Connie, Sue and Kathy. I remember Connie's wedding and the limberger cheese on the car's manifold. Kathy winning the demolition derpy at the fair.
I don't think we ever got the answer as to what happened to the 22 tractor tire's that mysteriously lost all their air?
Sending my love to Marty, Connie, Sue, Kathy and all of your families. He was a very unique character who gave me happiness and fun whenever I was around him.
