Gregory Dunahoo Obituary

Gregory Linn Dunahoo, 52 of Colo died on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Funeral services were held on Monday, October 27 at Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada with Pastor Myron D. Herzberg officiating. Burial followed in the St. James Catholic Cemetery in Colo.
Greg was born on December 24, 1955 at Story County Hospital in Nevada to Carroll L. and Flora D. (Imsland) Dunahoo. He was a 1974 graduate of Nesco High School. On October 18, 1974, Greg married Linda M. Croker at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colo. He was a farm assistant for Suekei, Inc. from 1998-2008. Greg was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church in McCallsburg. He enjoyed truck pulling, farming, camping and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandsons. Greg was a lifelong resident of the Zearing and Colo area.
Greg is survived by three children, Wendy (Don) McMillen, Josh Dunahoo, all of Colo and Brittney Dunahoo and fiancé Brock Kimberley of Des Moines; 2 grandchildren, DJ and Andrew McMillen; his parents, Carroll and Flora Dunahoo of Nevada; a brother, Bruce (Nancy) Dunahoo of Zearing; a sister Kim (Keith) Nicholas of Colo.
Greg was preceded in death by his wife Linda on January 17, 2005 and grandparents, Ole and Betsy Imsland and Lloyd and Alice Dunahoo.
A memorial fund has been established in Greg's name.
Chet Ryan Mortuary has been entrusted with Greg and his family.

My deepest sympathy to all of Gregs family. and his special angel "Lori" who gave so much love and support to him during his lengthy illness.
