MARJORIE RIKER

Marjorie Ann Riker, 87, of Tunkhannock passed away Wednesday, March 15, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland R. Riker in 2011.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, on Oct. 8, 1935, she is the daughter of the late Gordon and Mable Montross Steele

She was a 1953 graduate of Tunkhannock High School and was a beautician for more than 50 years retiring in 2009. Marjorie was a member of the Eaton Baptist Church and enjoyed spending her time caring for her flower beds.

She is survived by sons: Leland G. and wife Karen of Tunkhannock, David and wife Jill of Eloy, Ariz.; daughter, Patti Lou Riker and husband William Schutte III of Urbana, Va.; three grandchildren: Crystal Meyers and husband Roger, Lee Ann and LuAnn Riker; two great granddaughters: Winter and Willa Meyers; and sister, MaryLou Clark.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Benscoter.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements and care entrusted to Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga Street, Tunkhannock.
