Inez Boyer Obituary
KIRKERSVILLE: A funeral service, celebrating the life of Inez M Boyer, age 102, formerly of Kirkersville, will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of The Kirkersville home of The HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Matthew VanWinkle as celebrant. Burial will follow at Kirkersville Cemetery.
Inez died peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2013, in Loudon, Tennessee, where she had been living for the last several years. She was born September 21, 1910, in Noble County, the daughter of the late Clarence E and Retti V (Pickenpaugh) Dye. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of The Kirkersville United Methodist Church, and the Kirkersville home extension club.
She is survived by her loving family: her daughter Pam (Donald) Doherty, of Michigan, her son Terry (Carole) Boyer of Loudon, TN.; grandchildren Brian Doherty, Brenda Toccalino, Stephanie (Chris) Martin and Brad Boyer; great-grandchildren Kara, Eric, Rachel, Joshua, Gina, Cadee, Wyatt; and great-great grandchildren Kaci and Hallie; along with a sister-in-law Sue Boyer of Grove City; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband F. Kenneth Boyer in 1983, her three brothers Ivan, Martin and Wayne Dye and 2 sisters Elma Dye and Lois Williams.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to her service.
The family prefers that memorials be directed to the Kirkersville U.M. Church, PO Box 7, Kirkersville, Ohio 43033.
