Jenae' McNichols Obituary
HEBRON: A service celebrating the life of Jenae' Madison McNichols, age 16, of Hebron, will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, at Lakewood High School with Rev. Chris Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.
Jenae' passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at The Ohio State University Medical Center following complications of an auto accident. She was born March 26, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio to Thomas J. and Lisa A. (Dispennette) McNichols.
Jenae' was currently a sophomore at Lakewood High School and was active in Drama, Band/Drumline, Student Council, Lunch Buddies, National Honor Society and Choir. She gave up her study hall to be an office worker. She was also a Dance Assistant with Garrett Dance Arts Studio as well as a competition Dancer. She won many awards with dance, most recently a scholarship to a Jazz Intensive in New Orleans. Jenae' was an active Jr. Member of Ohio Dance Masters. Jenae' was a student who truly excelled as this coming school year, her junior year; she was given the honor to be the Varsity Captain for the Cheerleading Squad and was accepted as a Post Secondary Option Student. Jenae' was also a member of Hebron Christian Church, where she was active in the Youth Group and served as the Secretary.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by four sisters, Jennifer, Julie (James) Davenport, Jessica and Jana; two brothers, Josh and Jayden; paternal grandparents, Thomas J. and Marilyn A. (Roller) McNichols; maternal grandmother, Betty J. (Woolard) Dispennette; a nephew, Luke; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends, as well as her admired heroes Joan Garrett Wine and Michele Rexroad.
She was preceded in death by two infant brothers, Thomas Joseph and James Andrew; and maternal grandfather, Franklin J. Dispennette.
Friends may call from 10-1p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, at Lakewood High School Auditorium. The Heath Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service, 1249 Hebron Road, Heath, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jenae' McNichols Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 1437, Hebron, OH 43025-1437.
At the request of the family in honor of Jenae' please wear Purple or Pink on Tuesday as they were her favorite colors. Please bring you favorite Jenae' picture to put on a memorial board.
