Julius Perry Obituary
HEATH: A celebration of life service for Julius Perry, Sr., 71 of Heath will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home.
Mr. Perry died Saturday December 15, 2012 Columbus, Ohio. He was born March 1, 1941 in Covington, Georgia.
Mr. Perry retired in 2002 from Consolidated Freightways as a safety inspector with 25 years of service. He had also been employed at Kaiser Aluminum for 16 years. He was a member of the Teamsters. In his retirement he has enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart. He has also spent many hours at yard sales and flea markets. He and his wife were able to travel extensively including several cruises. His family remembers his ability to entertain by storytelling. He was also an avid card player.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Althia M. (Benton) Perry; children, Julius C. Perry, Jr., Veronica "Molly" Luttery, Letitia (Kenneth) Jones; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters; brother; many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be observed Tuesday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at the VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.

Molly, letisa, and al. you are in my prayers. He will be missed. He was always willing to help. when my brother died an untimely death he was there to help in every way. He was there when ever I needed him. He was a great man. A good father and husband and a good friend to many. He will be missed.
