He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy S. (Schmalenberger) Baker of 26 years, whom he married on June 13, 1992; a son, David K. (Brook) Baker of Heath; three daughters, Karen B. London of California, Bethany B. (Klaus) Krajewski of Granville, and Rebekkah E. (Maggie) Berryhill of Kent, Ohio; a sister, Judy V. (Allan) Peacock of Belleview, Florida; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; multiple nieces and nephews; many in-laws; and his card club family.

In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine E. Baker (2004).

Family and friends may call prior to the service on Friday, August 3, from 9-11 a.m., at First United Methodist Church, 88 North Fifth Street, Newark. The Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

I did not know Ken personally, but Elder Beerman hit the jackpot when they hired him. It only took a few seconds of conversation to realize that Ken was highly educated. He was a sharp dresser with a great personality, and he had an amazing energy level.
RIP, Ken!!!

I will always remember Ken walking into Elder Beerman, all dressed to the hilt, asking if we had hired him yet. We hustled to find his app and hired him. Ken was a great man and salesman. So sorry for your loss. Randi Mclaughlin

Dear Nancy and family,
We were so sad to hear about Ken's passing. I enjoyed working with him at Elder Beerman and he was quite a gentleman. You both were so special to us and kind with our son Fred. It always meant SO much. He will be missed greatly.
