Melody Whissel Obituary
Norwich - Melody Esther Whissel, 54 of Norwich died at 6:00 AM Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Genesis Morrison House Hospice courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on Thursday, January 16, 1964 in Pico Rivera, CA the daughter of Lester Dimple Dorman and Rose Marie Adkins.
Melody had been employed at Rockwell International in Newark for many years. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her father, She is survived by her mother & George Winters; her husband whom she married August 1, 2000, Rob Whissel; a son, Wesley Willey; four grandchildren, Allie, Edward, Patience & Honor; her siblings, Leslee Dunwoody, Ethan Coleman & Stacey Frye; several nieces & nephews; her mother-in-law, Becke Whissel; and numerous friends including, Sara Wycoff, Penny Spiker, Tracy Coble, and Cheryl Smith. Melody was preceded in death by A sister Sharon Coleman.
A memorial service will be held at a later.
