Mingus
NORWALK: Richard "Rick" L. Mingus, age 54, of Norwalk, passed away Monday, December 02, 2013 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
He was born November 19, 1959 in Nelsonville, OH and was a graduate of Trimble High School in Glouster, OH.
He has worked in the grocery retail most of his life, and has been the manager at Gardner's Supervalue in Norwalk over 11 years. He enjoyed volunteering in Norwalk, served as President of the Huron County Chamber of Commerce and was active with the Main Street program.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Crystal Mingus; children, Brent Mingus of Lawton, OK, Amber Mingus of Norwalk and Conner Mingus of Newark; grandchildren, Mason Mingus and Draven Annarino; mother, Eileen Mingus; siblings, Debi Mingus, Randy Mingus and Denise Henry.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Mingus.
A reception for family and friends will be Friday from 2:00-6:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be sent to one's favorite charity.
