Vaughn Campbell Obituary
LAFAYETTE, IN: Vaughn Edward Campbell 51, of Lafayette passed away Sunday May 1, 2016 at IU Health Arnett.
Born October 23, 1964 in Columbus Ohio, he was the son of Robert l Campbell and late Susan A Bowser Campbell.
He married the love of his life Eva M Howell on Nov 12, 1983 in Brandonville, WV.
Vaughn was the General Manager of Kendrick Nissan of Lafayette, and also previously served as the new car sales manager of Bob Rorhrman Toyota for 7 years. Vaughn mentored many as a Kirby Vacuum Factory Distributor for 20+ years.
Vaughn enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and attending IU baseball games. His 6 grandsons were his pride and joy and he was a proud member of Steeler Nation.
Vaughn was known for his smile, contagious laugh, fatherly wisdom to so many and compassionate heart. He never met a stranger and was loved and will be missed by many.
Surviving are his wife of 33 years Eva M Campbell of Lafayette, his father Robert L Campbell and step mother Sue Ann of Newark, Ohio. His children, Michelle Tucker (husband Mike) of Greenwood, In. Elizabeth Earl (husband Ron) of Sherrard, Il. Roger Rodeheaver (wife Amy) of Bloomington, In. and Lewis Campbell (wife Abby) of Bloomington, in. His four siblings , Stephanie Chapman of Nettie WV, William young (wife Kathy) of Bruceton Mills WV, Rachel Campbell of Newark, Ohio, and Sonya Mauter of Newark, Ohio. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Nathan Earl, Ethan Earl, Evan Earl, George Tucker, and Nolan Rodeheaver.
Preceding him in death are his mother, Susan A. King, a brother Wesley Young, and grandson, Henry James Vaughn Tucker.
Visitation will be 4 pm to 7 pm Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Hippensteel funeral home. Service to follow at 7 pm with Harding Howell Jr. officiating.
