Anne Kask Obituary

NEWINGTON

Anne Marie Kask (Gaudette) passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 12, 2024, after a long illness. She was a long time resident of Newington, but was born and raised in Bristol. She attended St. Joseph's School, St. Paul Catholic High School, and was a graduate of Central Connecticut State University. She was a long term employee of Joseph Merritt & Company in Hartford, from where she retired 2016. Annie was a kind soul with a sharp sense of humor. She didn't suffer fools lightly, but always had a kind word for everyone she met. She is pre-deceased by her parents, George and Doris Gaudette, and is survived by her husband, John Kask of Newington, her twin sister, Mary Ellen Gaudette of Berlin, her brother George Gaudette and his wife Maureen of East Granby, and her brother Jim Gaudette and his wife Yvonne of Bristol, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be private. Memorial donations should be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd, Newington, CT 06111. To send a condolence, please visit www.FarrellFuneralHome.com.
