Christopher Maynard Obituary
Christopher (Chris) Thomas Maynard passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 24,2023 after a brief illness. He was loved, raised and educated by Judge Robert (Bob) Maynard and Margaret (Peg) Maynard, in Bristol, Connecticut. He leaves behind a brother, Timothy and two sisters, Nicole and Lisa. It´s hard to believe that a year has passed since Chris moved on to another level of consciousness. I have many wonderful memories of the time we spent together in college.
I feel so blessed to have known this amazing man. My sadness at his passing is profound. We were each other´s first true love and you know how despite the passing of time, that certain magic never really ends. I hope we meet again someday.

So today is Christmas Day. I was enjoying the holiday with friends and since I am alone now I was reminiscing about Chris. He was my first true love, and I have loved him since. My friends encouraged me to try and find him so we could talk and I would fly anywhere to see him and tell him I still loved him. So instead, I find this notice that he passed in May. How can this be? I would have held him until he passed to a dimension far better than this world. I am truly devastated. He was my first, and will always be my last love. The heart never forgets. I love you Christopher Thomas Maynard. I will see you on the other side, and may we start at the beginning and be together always. Elaine Amato

Sincere condolences to the Maynard family. Growing up off West St, we had the best looking paperboy in the neighborhood. Always pleasant and just a very nice person. Met up with him through the years and always enjoyed seeing him. Rest in peace Chris. God Bless.
