Claudette Theriault Obituary
Claudette (Ouellette) Theriault, 81, of Bristol beloved wife of Alvee L. Theriault, died on Wednesday (April 12, 2023) at home. Claudette was born on January 15, 1942 in Grand Isle, ME and was one of two daughters of the late Roy and Rena (Beaulieu) Ouellette. A Bristol resident since 1969, she worked for Dr. Valigorsky and Dr. Ellis for 15 years. Known as the hostess with the mostess, she enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings and get-togethers with friends. She and Alvee were fans of country-western line dancing and went so far as wearing matching outfits. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church, Bristol where she served as a lector and eucharistic minister and was a member of La Roncontre. In addition to her husband of 63 years, Claudette is survived by two children: Linda (Theriault) Bader of Bristol, and Steve Theriault and wife, Maria, of Ontario, CA; daughter-in-law: Shawn McIsaac Theriault of Bethel; her sister: Robertine Brown and husband, Herbert of Bristol; five grandchildren: Matthew Bader, Brian Theriault and fiance, Tracey Solomon, Nicole Theriault, Amber Theriault, and Kacy Theriault; eight great-grandchildren: Kylie, Ava, Lily, Brendon, Emma, Lailani, Jaelynn, and Aubrey; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Theriault. Funeral services will be held on Thursday (April 20, 2023) at 9:30 AM from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Avenue, Bristol, to St. Gregory the Great Church, 235 Maltby St, Bristol, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends are invited to call at Funk Funeral Home on Wednesday between 5 and 8 PM.
