John Kent Schon Obituary
John Kent Schon, 68, passed away peacefully at Bristol Hospital on April 10, 2024 with his family by his side. He was born on April 3, 1956 in Hartford, CT to Otto and Florinette Schon.
He is survived by his children Hason and Eric who were the highlights of his life, their mother Cindy, his sister Sue and brothers Mark (Robin), Tom (Candace), and Greg (Lori), his nieces and nephews Michael, Kevin, Gretchen, Sherri, Susie, Sarah, Stacie, Calla, Samantha, and Anthony. He also leaves behind his cat B.J.
John was a very talented stone mason, he worked with his father and brother over the years. His fireplaces and stone walls were indeed a work of art. He had a passion for motorcycles and you would often find him working on them in his spare time. He had a love of gardening and was very successful in making a garden flourish. He enjoyed going to airshows with his boys and other family members who could tolerate the loud jet noise.
John had a lot of very close friendships that he cherished. He would go to the ends of the Earth to help anyone who asked and even those who didnt.
He was highly respected by his community and will be missed greatly. The family would like to thank all those who touched his life and gave him support and encouragement through his many journeys. We would like to thank Dr. Housman and Dr. Black for their unending compassion and encouragement. John was surrounded by angels to protect him on his journey to Heaven.
