John M. Kreidler. born October 30, 1934 to the late Daniel and Mary Kreidler of New Britain, CT passed away peacefully at his home in Vernon, CT at the age of 90. John was predeceased by 3 brothers, Joseph, Michael and Anthony. John is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Connie (Landry) Kreidler. He was loved dearly by his 4 children, Donna Clemens and her husband Dean, Steve Landry and Teresa Lockwood, Stan Landry and his wife Michelle and Debby Sce and her husband Joe. John cherished his grandchildren, Michael Keating, Heather Jeter, Caitlyn Landry, Rebecca Landry, Amanda Sce, Ashley Sce, Brooke Landry, Sarah Landry and Joey Sce and great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Hailey Jeter. He is also survived by his brother Daniel Kreidler and his wife Barbara and his sister Mary Kreidler.

John served honorably in the United States Marine Corp. He had a long career working at Connecticut Refining Co. until his retirement in 1994. He spent much of his adult life coaching the Blue Plate Restaurant softball team in the New Britain Restaurant League and eventually becoming President of the League. He enjoyed traveling with his wife Connie and dividing their time between their homes in Florida and Connecticut. John loved spending time with his family, fishing, boating and taking trips in their motorhome.

John was a faithful member of St. Scholastic Catholic Church and enjoyed volunteering for the less fortunate. He will be remembered for having a giant heart and an optimistic attitude. He impacted everyone he came in contact with in a positive way.

There are no words to describe how much he will be missed.

A mass will be held at St. Paul Church, 461 Alling Street, Berlin, Ct on September 20th at 10:00 a.m. and a repass at Sans Souci restaurant immediately following at 2003 North Broad Street, Meriden, CT.
