Leah Toczko Obituary

Leah Rose Toczko, 91, of New Britain, Conn., died on Thursday, June 6, 2019. Leah was born Sept. 23, 1927, in New Britain, Conn., to Helmer and Rose (Thomas) Larson. She is survived by her three sons and their spouses; Eric and Barbara Toczko of Colebrook, Conn.; Brett and Lisa Toczko of Burlington, Conn.; and Craig and Eleonora Toczko of Portland, Conn. She was predeceased by her dear husband, Alphonse John Toczko, and two of their sons, A. John Toczko Jr. and Kurt Howard Toczko. In addition to nieces and nephews, Leah is also survived by nine beloved grandchildren who were her pride and joy; Kristin, Jarod, Heather, Kimber, Ethan, Megan, Rachel, Wyatt, and Brittany; and nine precious great-grandchildren; Melanie, Avery, Hailey, Grayson, Brandon, Luke, Gianna, Savannah, and a little one on the way.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 13, from 4-7 p.m. at New Britain Memorial & Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, Conn. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 14, at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 1755 Stanley St., New Britain, Conn., followed by Committal Service at St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St., New Britain, Conn.
