Elizabeth (Gnall) Pagnoni of Bristol CT, age 95 passed away on March 26 2026. Elizabeth was born August 31, 1930 in Scranton PA to Elizabeth (Zielazinski) Gnall and Peter Gnall. She grew up just outside Scranton. She is a graduate of Dalton High School. She married Ettore Pagnoni and they then moved to Connecticut. She was predecased by her husband, sister Helen Gnall Rawlings, and brother James Gnall. She leaves her brother Richard and wife Slyvia of Wilmington, North Carolina, and sister Rosemarie Pisk and husband Theodore Pisk from New Britain, CT. Included among her survivors are nephews Richard Gnall Jr. of New Britain, CT, John Gnall of Action, MA, and nice Nadine Trautmen and husband Ken from Tardiff, CA. She also leaves her lifelong friend Helen Maruck from Raymond, MS. Before leaving for Connecticut, she worked for American Tobacco Co. in Scranton. In Connecticut she worked for Scovill in Waterbury and in the Stanley Golf Course Pro Shop in New Britain. Elizabeth was a person of deep faith, prayer, compassion, and kindness. A faithful Roman Catholic she had great reverence and love of Jesus, the Eternal Father, the Holy Spirt, and a special relationship and love for The Blessed Mother. Each of her days included prayer time for her church, loved ones, our country and others. A favorite form of prayer for her was the Rosary. An accomplished knitter she once entered a Nation-Wide Knitting Contest and was the Runner Up. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, April 1st, at 10:30am at St. Stanislaus Church, 510 West St, Bristol. Calling hours will be Tuesday evening from 5-7pm at DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, CT. Burial will be in Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton, PA.
