Marc Taillon Obituary
Marc A. Taillon, 85, of Bristol, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 (his 85 th birthday) at Bristol Hospital. Marc was born in Bristol on August 20, 1940, and was the son of the late Xavier M. and Rose Alma (Brousseau) Taillon. He was educated in Bristol schools and entered the United States Air Force in 1959. After serving his country for four years, he was honorably discharged in 1963. Marc was employed by the Associated Spring Company as a System Analyst retiring in 1999. In his free time, Marc enjoyed woodworking, travelling, jigsaw puzzles, the UConn Women, the Red Sox, the New England Patriots and especially spending time with his family. Marc is survived by his three children, his sons and daughter, Marc X. Ziggy Taillon of Waterbury, Christopher Taillon and his wife Jodi also of Waterbury and Lisa Taillon and her husband Errol Johnson; and daughter-in-law: Kaysie Taillon. He was a doting Peper to his five grandchildren, Quinn, Max, Joseph, Samuel and Emmerson. Marc is also survived by his siblings, Maurice Taillon of Staffordville, Daniel Taillon and his wife Nancy of Bristol, Alice Testa and her husband Edmond of Forestville, Elaine Taillon of Bristol, Rose Marie Unwin and her husband Jerry of Southington, Bernadette Polidoro of Staffordville and Celeste St. Denis and her husband Steve of Fredricksburg, VA, several nieces and nephews and his faithful feline companion, Fiona. Marc was predeceased by a son, Jean Paul Taillon, brothers, Ronald and Robert and a sister, Agnes Fisher. Calling hours for Marc will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 between 5 and 7 p.m. at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, CT 06010. Burial will be held privately.
