Marilyn Willett Obituary

BRISTOL

Marilyn R. Willett, Lynn of Bristol, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and friends on August 30, 2025. Born on August 15, 1952, in Southington, CT, she was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Devin. Lynn worked in the kitchen and laundry at the Pines at Bristol for over 40 years. Lynn is survived by her two daughters

and sons-in-law, Sandy and John Phelan of Southington, and Samantha & Tony Ruffino of Bristol, and five grandchildren, Nick, Mary, Elizabeth, Rachel and Cara; brother-in-law, Patrick Willett, best friends Diane and Art Berry, and three sisters: Darlene Scott of Waterbury, Kate Salerno and Lydia Degumbia of Southington. She is predeceased by her brothers Albert, Roscoe and John and her sister Judy. Lynn's family would like to thank her long-time caregiver, Lori Sirois, for her compassion and friendship these last few years and her doctors at UConn Health, Dr. Rebecca Andrews, Dr. Santhanam Lakshminarayanan, and Dr. Isaac Moss. A funeral mass will be held September 4th at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 33 Queen St, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington. Calling hours will be Thursday morning from 9-10:30 a.m. at Dupont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave, Bristol.
