Patricia Anne Phelan

WELLESLEY

Patricia Anne Phelan of Wellesley, MA passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024. Pat was raised in Bristol, CT. She was the daughter of the late Hubert and Laurine Phelan. She was the beloved sister of Kevin and his late wife Anne of Wellesley, and Brian and his wife Diane of Wayland. Pat was the doting aunt to five nieces Alicia Erickson, Carrie Leto, Lauren Lipscomb, Kristin Phelan, and Elizabeth Strom, and the great-aunt to twelve. Spending time with her nieces and great-nieces and nephews brought her immense joy.

Pat attended The College of New Rochelle in New York. She had a lifelong and distinguished career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Pat was a long-time member of the Longwood Cricket Club, where she made dear friends playing tennis and bridge. Upon her retirement, Pat was an active volunteer at Newton Wellesley Hospital. Her family and friends thoroughly enjoyed Pats extensive baking.

Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St, (Rt. 16), Wellesley on Monday, January 6 from 5-7pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 9 Glen Rd, Wellesley Hills, MA on Tuesday, January 7 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment private.
