Roy Hinze Obituary

Roy Clifford Hinze, Jr.

BRISTOL

Roy Hinze, 58, of Bristol, passed into the arms of his Savior on Friday, (August 15, 2025) at Sheriden Woods Health Care Center. He was born on April 21, 1967, in New Britain and was the son of the late Roy C. Hinze, Sr., and Mrs. Elizabeth J. (Palardy) Hinze. He graduated from Southington High School in 1986, and was employed by the Southington Car Wash for many years. Roy received his first drum kit at the age of five, and loved music and playing the drums throughout his entire life. He loved to tinker with cars, cook and was friendly with everyone he met. Toward the end of his life, he gave his life to Jesus Christ , studying the bible and serving faithfully by volunteering at The Salvation Army. He was able to use his love of music there to shine God's light. Roy is survived by his three sisters, Lisa (Hinze) Pitcock and her husband Richard Pitcock of Paris France, Lori (Hinze) Cote and her husband Michael Cote of Barefoot Bay, FL and Robin Hinze-Brewer and her husband, Loren Brewer, of Ocala, FL. He is also survived by four nieces, a nephew, two grand-nieces and two grand- nephews. Roy also has eleven cousins which he leaves behind and his dear uncle and aunt, Mr.Edward and Norma Jean (Palardy) Lewandowski, of Bristol, CT. A memorial service will be held in Florida at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Salvation Army 19 Stearns St. Bristol, Ct. 06010 Roy Clifford Hinze, Jr.
