Alfreda Huff, age 87, of Newport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
She was born May 20, 1939, she was a woman of unwavering faith and a life long servant of God. Her devotion was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her every action and word. She found joy in daily prayer, her fellowship, and her spirit radiated the love and grace of her Savior to all who knew her. A quiet force of love and compassion, she touched many lives with her kindness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Huff; daughter, Teresa "Susie" Huff-Noe; parents, Jimmie and Dorothy Lovell; brothers, Arthur Lee Lovell, James Ray Lovell, Roger Jerry Lovell, and Michael Lovell; sister, Patsy L. Huff, Janice L. Concord, Mona L. Ford, and Robyn L. Nease.
She is survived by her devoted sister, Phyllis Bryant, whose tireless care and unfaltering support provided immense comfort and companionship from the past to recent times. The family expresses profound gratitude for the sacrifices made by her sister in ensuring her well- being; her son, Randall (Cielo) Huff; loving granddaughters, Bernice Huff and Rachel Huff; her future grandson, Logan Murray; sisters, Debbie Lovell and her little sister, Phyllis Bryant; brother in spirit- "Uncle Bud"; dear niece, Missy Raines; grandson, Jordan Noe; also many other nieces, nephews, friends, and her church family who she lived for at Clay Creek Baptist Church.
Though we grieve her passing, we find peace in the knowledge that she is now in the eternal presence of the Lord she served so faithfully. Her legacy of faith and love will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her.
The family will receive friends 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Manes Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marty Hicks and Rev. James Cline officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay Creek Cemetery.
