Chris Fuchs, age 61, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at his home. Chris was born April 7, 1962 to the late William Fuchs, Sr. and Helga Kenipp Fuchs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Gayle Fuchs; sisters, Margaret Fuchs, Ann Kasinerve, and Celeste Fuchs; and brothers, William Fuchs, Jr. and Gary Fuchs.
Chris was a veteran who proudly served in the United States Air Force. He liked gardening and also enjoyed decorating for Christmas. It gave him great joy to put up hundreds of lights each year to spread cheer to anyone who saw them. He also retired from the aerospace industry after over 39 years of service. Chris was of the Christian faith.
Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Lynn Fuchs; sister-in-law, Rosemary Hedgedus; and special friends, Charlie and Janice Eckmann, Laurie Dutchrn, Joe Staco, and Dave and June Hubbard.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Mountain City Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. Military honors will be accorded by the Johnson County Honor Guard.
