Kenneth Presnell, age 90, of Sevierville, TN, formerly of Newport, TN, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, March 16, 2023.
He was a member of Cosby Missionary Baptist Church. He was a former mechanic at Kickliter Ford before going into business for himself. He loved to go hiking at Big Creek with his wife Ernestine, spending time with his family, watching and going to races, and gardening.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Ruby Frazier Presnell; Father, Major Presnell; Mother, Rosa Presnell; Brother, Delmar Presnell; Sisters, Gladys Webb, Margie Hudson, Helen Clark, and Reva Owenby; Granddaughter, Misty Blue Parks.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Ernestine Presnell of Sevierville, TN; Children, Kenny Presnell and wife Michelle of Sevierville, TN, Karen Parks and Kathy Keys of Sevierville, TN; Grandchildren, April Lane, Tammy Snyder, Angel Stout, Jennifer Ratliff, Jamie Hicks, Major Presnell, Jordon Fox, Jessica Presnell Roberts, McKala Fox, Taylor James Gott, Dylan Presnell, Randall Keys, Jackson Lane, Carson Lane, Charlotte Ratliff, Caroline Ratliff, Grayson Roberts, and several other great grandchildren; Brothers, Haskell Presnell and wife Ruth, and Jack Presnell and wife Cheryl; Sister, Reba Webb and husband Johnny; Step Children, Terry Butler and wife Sherry, Barbara Fine, Vickie Costner and husband Rusty.
The family will receive friends 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023 in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. and will be followed by interment at Howard's View Cemetery.
