Zackary R. Belmore

2001 - 2022

Zackary R. Belmore of Derby, VT passed away suddenly on June 25, 2022. He was born on Nov. 2, 2001 in Newport, VT to Syman Belmore and Lynn Belmore.
Zack had a big heart, free spirit, and an old soul. He was a one of a kind young man. Instead of embarking on a big career, Zack wanted to travel the world in search of good, kind hearted people. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking, hunting and camping. He also loved his cat Lucy, who went everywhere with him, she was his best friend. Zack was an artist, he enjoyed tattooing, painting, drawing, whittling, sewing and making jewelry.
Music was also a big part of his life, he loved to play his banjo and it came from the heart and soul.
He is survived by his mother Lynn Belmore and partner Jamie Prue of Derby, VT. His father Syman Belmore and partner Belle Lockwood of Lowell, VT. His sisters Makayla Belmore of Derby, VT and Isabelle of Lowell, VT. His Brother Sky Belmore of Lowell, VT. Uncles and Aunts Chad and Billie Jo Abbott, Karen Dufresne, Angelina and George Holobowicz, Adam Verge and Amanda Yauger, as well as several Great Aunts and Uncles, many Cousins and friends. He is also survived by his Grandmother Linda Marsh, his Grandparents Richard and Marybeth Belmore, and Great Grandmother Rita Daniels. He was predeceased by his Grandmother Helen Castonguay, Great Grandfather Cecile Daniels, Great Grandfather Earl Mason, Great Uncle John, and Great Uncle Wayne.
There will be a Celebration of life July 10 at the River of Life Church in Irasburg, VT. Calling hours will be from 2-3 p.m. followed by a service officiated by Pastor Dan Prue. A meal will be provided at the end of the service by New Hope Bible Church.
