I will never forget going to school and not liking what we were having for lunch. Your mom always made sure that all the kids had something to eat and none of us would go away hungry. Even if it was left overs from the day before or a peanut butter sandwich. I will never forget her kindness for all of us children.

Susan, Bernie was one of the prettiest, sweetest ladies I have ever met. I styled her hair at Brenden Gardens. We exchanged Christmas cards every year, and she would update me on the happenings there. She made the most delicious divinity I ever ate! (She gave me the recipe, and I never could make it like she did). She talked about you and your family a lot. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Donna

Susan,
You know how sad I am to lose Mom #2. I have memories of Bernie and your dad while growing up and all those nights we spent together as best friends. I remember Bernie telling us to be quiet and time to go to sleep as we were always giggling endlessly. I know you will miss her terribly, but how lucky you are to have had her with you for so long a time. May God bless and comfort you and Jack.

We were so sadden to read the loss of your Mother. She was such a lovely, loving lady. It was a joy to know her. My Dad loved her also, and always teasing her about being an "older" lady. She was 14 days older. I know you will miss her dearly.
