PAXTON - Daniel McNamara, 70, died at 4:08 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 1, 2025) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
A gathering of family and friends for a celebration of life will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the McNamara home in Paxton. Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells St., Paxton, is in charge of arrangements.

So sad to hear the passing of my old friend Mac. Met him and worked with him at Vetter fairing many moons ago. We ended up finding recovery and getting sober together over 35yrs ago. Mac and I had some great times His humor was so wonderful. If you never heard him do Popeye, you missed it.
