I remember Darlene from high school. We sang together in Vocalettes traveled to Miami to sing for a convention. It was one of the best memories of high school shared with those of us in that singing group. She was so talented and had a beautiful voice. I also remember she was a lovely person and very kind to everyone. I am so sorry to hear this. Please accept my sincere condolences.

God saw her getting tired and cure was not to be
So he wrapped his arms around her and whispered come with me
Through tearful eyes you watched her and saw her pass away
Although you loved her dearly you could not make her stay
A gentle heart stopped beating
Hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to us
He only takes the best
