Donna Juhl Obituary

URBANA - Dr. Donna Juhl, 67, of East Troy, Wis., formerly of Urbana, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023, at home with her husband and three children by her side.

Donna is survived by her husband of 38 years, Dr. Gary Brummet; three children, Quentin (Jen) Brummet, Disa (Amil) Patel and Evan (Danielle) Brummet; two grandchildren, Kaya Patel and Jordan Brummet; and a brother, Jeff (Bev) Juhl of Alaska.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marion Juhl, and her father, Claus Juhl.

Donna was born July 5, 1955, in Chicago to Claus and Virginia Juhl. She received her bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Texas A&M University in 1977. Donna received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 1981.

She married Dr. Gary Brummet on May 26, 1984. After marriage, they owned and operated A&E Animal Hospital in Urbana from 1984 to 2017.
