Fred was a dear friend for many years and I miss his friendship.
I enjoyed playing golf which included going to the masters.
I also enjoyed discussing local ,State and National issues.
We had a group that met occasionally which included Tim Yow , Eli Sidwell, Fred and myself .
Fred helped many people and was glad to do it.
He was so incredibly proud of his Brother Governor Jim Edgar.
When Fred Married Becky she made him extremely happy and he loved her very much.
As I honor Fred today it is wonderful to recall our friendship and I will always remember our many Happy
Times together.
Fred was a Good man and he stood tall among his peers and served his Community, State , and Nation as a decorated Patriot during the Vietnam
era.
