I am better because Joe Pascal was one of my coaches, alongside Nate Cunningham & Frank Luzenski during my time playing football at Danville High School. I consider that experience to be THE most enjoyable of my entire athletic career. I feel this way in large part because of Coach Pascal. He was demanding and hard-nosed, yet fair and always a teacher. I have thought of him more than he likely knew over the years since my graduation in 1991, and was sad to learn of his passing. To his family - please know that there are people like me who you´ll likely never meet who were impacted in such a positive way by Joe. I count myself lucky for having had him in my life at such an impressionable stage. My thoughts go out to all who loved him.

Mr. Pascal was trying to prepare one for more than the next game or wrestling match. He was looking ahead to prepare you for life´s challenges. Rest well Coach, and my deepest condolences to your family.
