Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Remember
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

To the family of Deacon Johnie Wilson, what do you say for a man who has left a legacy? Who lived life so, that long after he is gone, you can see him through each o f his children, and that the fruit that he left on the vine is still multiplying. Deacon Wilson a strong warrior for Christ will be truly missed but will forever be remembered in our hearts and thoughts. Family, use the example he set for trusting God that no matter what comes in life, never quit, or give in to the dictates of life, but press on for the prize as he did so that you too may obtain your crown. To mother Wilson, I love you, you are such a strong woman of God full of virtue, love and power in the Holy Ghost. May God's loving arms wrap you up and hold you close in this time. I'm praying for you all, Love to each one of you. Judy Grant

Please accept my condolences. I had the pleasure of knowing your family through Carle and I have never seen another family so devoted to each other. I know Johnie always boasted about his kids and was truley proud to have such a beautiful wife. He was always so nice even when he was feeling his worst. I hope you take comfort in knowing he touched many lives with his kindness.

mama, lil johnie, chico, jonah,
words can not express the sadness within for the loss of big johnnie, who was like another father to me.All of you go back with me and my family since second grade and throughout all of these years we have never lost that. Mama I have always referred to you as mama because that is what you are to me, My prayers are with you that GOD will strenghten you day by day. Please remember that he does not place any more on us than we can bear. He is with our creator and that is a beautiful thing to know that his suffering is no longer and that now he has peace. To be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD. I love you all!!!
