Lon Peterson Obituary
Funeral services for Lon R. Peterson, 36, of Mahomet will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Blair-Owens Funeral Home, 102 E. Dunbar St., Mahomet. The Rev. Brent Roberson will officiate.
Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery, Mahomet.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Peterson died at 4:35 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 25, 2006) at home.
He was born June 16, 1970, in Maine, a son of Garland and Joan Peterson. He married Megan Gorski on Oct. 7, 2001.
Survivors include his father of Red Bud, Wis.; his mother of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a son, Logan Peterson of Green River, Wyo.; and three daughters, Cassidy Peterson and Jessica Peterson, both at home, and Jessica Marie Peterson of Green River, Wyo.
Mr. Peterson was a firefighter and emergency medical technician in Daytona Beach, Fla. He served in the Army National Guard and was a member of Regional Aircraft Association.
Memorials may be made to an education fund for his children at First Mid Illinois Bank & Trust, Mahomet.
