WHITE HEATH - Mark C. Sieja, 70, of White Heath passed away Wednesday (July 3, 2024).
Mark Sieja was born in Chicago, the son of William and Betty Sieja.
Mark is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jill Urbach of White Heath; daughters, Allison Sieja of Columbia, Mo., and Kelly Sieja of Champaign; sister, Nancy (Rick) Folks of Ft. Myers, Fla.; nephews, Jonathon (Tina) Folks and Benjamin (Marissa) Folks; and great-nephew, Desmond Folks.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Greg Sieja.
Mark loved his family above all else. He was so proud of his daughters' accomplishments and of having adventures with Jill. He was a great person who would help whenever you called on him. He never met a stranger and enjoyed making friends wherever he went. He worked as an accountant and retired from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources at Clinton Lake. He enjoyed all things cars and car shows, especially Corvettes. He was always busy working on projects, visiting with friends and walking his shelties, Sophie and Athena, and his granddog, Beth.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Central Illinois Sheltie Rescue at illinoissheltierescue.com. Condolences may be sent to the family at mackey-wrightfuneralhome.com.
